BICIPITAL TENDINITIS is localized in the anterior part of the shoulder and a catching sensation may accompany the pain. Activities that can produce it include, practicing overhead tennis serves, overaggressive follow through when driving golf balls.

CARPAL TUNNEL SYNDROME is caused by compression of the median nerve as it passes through the carpal canal at the wrist. It produces pain and numbness and weakness of the hand and wrist.

CERVICAL FACET SYNDROME is a common cause of neck pain, manifesting itself by a group of symptoms of neck, head, shoulder and proximal upper extremity pain which is dull and poorly defined in character. It could be bilateral or unilateral and it is due to facet joint pathology.

CERVICAL RADICULOPATHY symptoms consist of neck and upper extremity pain originating from a cervical nerve root. Among the causes are a herniated disk or stenosis of the foramina. There could be numbness and weakness and pain radiating down the upper extremity.

CHEIRALGIA PARESTHETICA is a radial nerve dysfunction secondary to compression by tight handcuffs, wristwatch or cast. There is pain and numbness of the radial aspect of the dorsum of the hand and base of the thumb. Also know as HANDCUFF NEUROPATHY.

COCCYDYNIA is pain localized over the tailbone that radiates into the lower sacrum and perineum. Results from strain of the sacrococcygeal ligament.
