ILIOINGUINAL NEURALGIA is one of the most common causes of lower abdominal and pelvic pain. It is caused by compression of the ileo-inguinal nerve as it passes through the transverse abdominis muscle at the level of the anterior superior iliac spine.

INTERCOSTAL NEURALGIA is due to inflammation of the intercostals nerves. The pain is burning in nature and usually begins at the posterior axillary line and radiates anteriorly.

ISCHIOGLUTEAL BURSITIS is caused by direct trauma to the ischiogluteal bursa at the level of the ischium or from overuse. It causes pain at the base of the buttock.

K

KNEE MEDIAL COLLATERAL LIGAMENT SYNDROME is characterized by pain in the medial aspect of the knee joint. The pain increases on passive valgus and external ratation of the knee. Typically the injury happens as a result of a snow skiing accident and football clipping injuries.
