AC JOINT PAIN is due to injury of joint in the shoulder joint and the pain is usually made worse by reaching across the chest. The affected joint is the Acromioclavicular joint therefore the name AC joint.

ACUTE HERPES ZOSTER is a disease caused by the varicella-zoster virus, which is also the virus that causes chickenpox. It commonly appears on the chest wall or the face and it is extremely painful. Also known as SHINGLES.

ANKYLOSING SPONDYLITIS is an inflammatory disease of the spine, sacroiliac joints and occasionally extra-articular  structures such as the eye. Usually presents as morning stiffness and deep aching pain of insidious onset in the lower back and over the sacroiliac joints. Also known as MARIE-STRUMPPEL DISEASE.

ARCHNOIDITIS is the term used to describe thickening, inflammation and scarring of the arachnoid membrane. It is accompanied by pain, numbness, weakness loss of reflexes and bowel or bladder symptomatology.

ARTHRITIS PAIN OF THE HIP results when there is damage of the joint cartilage. Pain is usually localized around the hip and upper leg. Activity makes the pain worse.

ARTHRITIS PAIN OF THE KNEE results when the joint cartilage gets damaged. The pain is usually localized around the knee or distal femur and activity makes pain worse.
